Chocolatey Peanut Butter Bliss Balls

These bliss balls are super quick easy to make and are sweetened with dates – no refined sugars,  as the name suggests they contain peanut butter which adds protein and good fats, as well as chia seeds which are a good source of fibre as well as a vegan source of omega 3 fats and protein.  As the name suggests they are also  help to satisfy those chocolate cravings….

Ingredients

200g pitted dates
150g crunch peanut butter
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp cocoa powder or raw cacao powder
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp cocoa powder or raw cacao powder for rolling

Method

  1. Place the ingredients in your food processor and blend together
  2. Roll into balls (it helps to do this with wet hands!)
  3.  Roll each ball in cocoa powder or raw cacao powder
  4. Refrigerate for at least an hour
  5. Eat and enjoy!
